Is our software compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista / Windows 7?

Yes. Our software is compatible & tested with Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/7.

Can I use TBS CleverBUSINESS alongside my existing accounting package?

Yes. For example you can import your contact list from your accounting system and take advantage of our advanced contact managment system to send out marketing PDF's via email. You could use TBS CleverBUSINESS to track job/project expenses and then do the final invoice from your other package - at least you will know how much a job really costs.

I have downloaded and installed a TBS software accounting package. When I open the software it asks for a name and password - what should I enter here?

The default login name for all TBS accounting packages is 'owner1' with no password. Once the software is open you can set a password and also setup other user accounts for your staff. In the 'Full' menu of CleverPLUS click the following buttons to set your own password: 91 (maintenance), E (change system password). TBS programs offer a full security system to lock staff out of areas they should touch (btn E, btn Q). User accounts are: owner1, mgr1 through mgr7 & staff1 through staff5. This system ensures your staff are able to get their jobs done but are barred from entering data where they're not authorised.

I want to use TBS software but I'm worried about the transition from my current accounting software! Is it straight forward?

Yes. We will import your creditors (suppliers)/debtors (customers)/products and opening account balances. This means you will just need to keep your old software as a historical reference and continue trading straight away with TBS software. Our customers find that training staff is a breeze.

Will my accountant be able to process my BAS and tax reporting requirements if I use TBS software?

Yes. The reports automatically generated by TBS software contain all of the relevant information for your accountant to do his/her job. We provide nominal code links to automatically export your data into your accountant's preferred codes. There is also an accountants module which can be made available to your accountant to easily check your data.

I am worried it will take too long to re-train myself & my staff. Do you offer training?

Yes. The fact is most people find TBS software far easier to learn and use than the main competing products. We offer 3 day business training (at a fee) which will provide a complete overview about using TBS software day-to-day and how it can boost your business. Most staff only use certain sections of the program and so training is very quick. Our four menu options also provide alternate ways to learn the system - for example our Lite menu has step-by-step instructions on screen. Don't all accounting packages do the same thing? Why is TBS software different?
